Cyber security business scoops major service contracts

Cyber Security

ECSC Group PLC said it has secured two major managed service contracts with a national charity and high street retailer with a combined revenue value of over £590,000.

The cybersecurity firm said the wins represented more than 20% of its current managed services order book and that the revenue will be recognised over the three year term of both contracts.

Both deals are for ECSC to provide 24/7 cybersecurity monitoring and breach detection utilising its Kepler Artificial Intelligence and managed by its security operations centres in the UK and Australia.

"We are delighted to announce two further major contract wins across two diverse sectors. The charity win is the first major managed service win to originate from the new ECSC partner programme, highlighting the positive progress in this area”, said ECSC chief executive Ian Mann.

“Following the introduction of the 2019 GDPR fines, a wide range of clients are increasingly recognising the need for cybersecurity managed services.  Our strategy of winning consultancy clients, and clients from within the partner programme, then developing them into long-term recurring managed service clients continues to be effective", he added.
