Mitel seals master agent deal with Westcon-Comstor in Europe
Mitel has sealed a master agent agreement with Westcon-Comstor to help grow UCaaS across EMEA, saying that the master agent model is growing in Europe.
It follows Mitel’s appointment of Westcon-Comstor in July 2018 as pan-international distributor for UC.
The plan is that sales partners and consultants gain access to new recurring revenue-based services and market segments and unlock additional business opportunities.
According to latest MZA estimations, the UCaaS market is expected to grow by 12.7% in Western Europe. Over the past year, Mitel has seen increased demand for UCaaS services in these regions, with 51% user growth of its UCaaS solution, MiCloud Connect.
“Mitel and Westcon-Comstor have built a fruitful partnership over the past year, and we are excited to be expanding it with the addition of our UCaaS portfolio,” said Rami Houbby, Vice President International UCaaS Sales, Mitel.
“In addition, no investment is required in infrastructure or resources from the sales partners’ side.”
René Klein, senior Vice President of Westcon Europe, added: “This announcement underlines two trends we are seeing in the market – the steady shift to the cloud and progressive adoption of the master agent model in EMEA and APAC.”
