Colt wins the Cloud Infrastructure award at the WCA’s

Last week, Colt for Dedicated Cloud Access on Demand picked up the Cloud Infrastructure award at the 20th annual World Communication Awards.
Colt’s Dedicated Cloud Access on Demand service provides SDN-enabled real time connectivity into public clouds, such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) with Google Cloud Interconnect being introduced later this year.
The judging panel were impressed by the “Superb innovation of cloud connectivity services”, whilst also noting the reliance on the service by the UK’s major banks.
At Colt they pride themselves on servicing a wide range of customers using DCA on Demand, ranging from enterprises wishing to benefit from a private and secure cloud connectivity to managed services providers and systems integrators who build value-added services on top, bundling Colt’s service as part of a converged network and cloud offering.
It’s yet another win in what has been a very successful award season so far for Colt, and these accolades reinforce why they are constantly working to put innovation at the forefront of what they do.
