Sean Joyce has been appointed US and Global Cybersecurity leader for PwC, expanding his role leading US Cybersecurity & Privacy.

Mohamed Kande, Global Leader for PwC Advisory, says,

"Cybersecurity and privacy are more important than ever -- and top of mind for CEOs around the globe. Over the course of his career, Sean has consulted in many areas involving cybersecurity and privacy, including some of the most prolific cyber breaches, providing expertise and guidance to top executives and boards. In his expanded role, Sean will bring his expertise to PwC’s Cybersecurity and Privacy practice globally, scaling PwC’s offerings and helping clients build trust and resilience.

Sean returned to PwC after serving as Chief Trust officer at Airbnb. Before taking on his current role, he led PwC’s US Cybersecurity & Privacy practice and the US and Global Financial Crimes Unit. Before joining PwC, Sean spent 26 years at the FBI, ultimately serving as Deputy Director, leading and managing over 36,000 people.

Helping clients build trust and resilience

"In addition to leading the US Cybersecurity and Privacy practice at PwC, I’m thrilled to take on global leadership of our cyber and privacy offerings across our network of firms. We are laser-focused on helping clients build trust and resilience as they navigate geopolitical and economic uncertainty", said Sean Joyce. "This means globally scaling our cybersecurity and data privacy offerings to protect, defend, and support our clients as they undergo massive digital transformations, amass more data, and navigate a volatile and always changing cyber threat landscape."
