8x8, a leading Software-as-a-Service provider of voice, video, chat, contact center, and enterprise-class API solutions powered by one global cloud communications platform, has last week announced its new partnership with leading network solution provider MLL Telecom.
MLL Telecom is one of the UK’s most trusted suppliers of full-managed networks. The company designs and manages reliable and secure networks for all the UK’s Mobile Operators and many UK public sector organisations including local government, blue light and health and social care organisations. MLL Telecom’s customers include EastNet and Fife Council.
Partnering with 8x8 gives MLL’s clients access to 8x8 X Series, which brings voice, video, chat and contact centre capabilities together with intelligent analytics to help transform customer and employee experiences. 8x8’s solution gives MLL Telecom the opportunity to approach new, larger prospects, and also upsell to existing customers.
MLL Telecom has recently been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s RM3808 government framework meaning through the partnership 8x8 X Series will be available to a much larger public sector marketplace. As a result, 8x8 and MLL Telecom are now perfectly positioned to help public sector organisations achieve digital transformation.
The new partnership, which has been in place for just two months, is already generating new business opportunities. Only a few months since they started working with 8x8, MLL Telecom has further developed its ongoing relationship with Suffolk County Council expanding into another service area by implementing a 200 seat contact centre service.
MLL Telecom has been impressed with 8x8’s hands-on training and support throughout the sales process. In particular, the 8x8 support team advises MLL Telecom customers on how best to use 8x8 X Series, ensuring they receive the maximum return on investment.
Darren Hogan, Director of Products, MLL Telecom, said: “As a principle, we are incredibly discerning when conducting our supplier partnering process. We work closely through our selection process to ensure that we work with a select group of partners who share our ambition to deliver the next generation of digital solutions for customers.”
“MLL Telecom’s commitment to provide robust and secure network services dovetails perfectly into 8x8’s heritage in delivering enterprise-class voice solutions, and we look forward to growing together within the public sector.”
Graham Kedzlie, Director, Business Development, 8x8, said: “MLL Telecom are a key strategic partner for 8x8 in the public sector space. We are very pleased to announce our first partnership deal in securing the Contact Center for Suffolk County Council. The legacy infrastructure had approached the end of life and 8x8’s pure cloud CCaaS was deployed rapidly delivering immediate productivity and cost benefits to the council. The 8x8/MLL Telecom partnership is just getting started, we are very much looking forward to sharing more success stories over the coming months.”
