In his new role, Cocks will be responsible for leading its go-to-market practices, sales operations and partner relationships across the globe.
With more than 30 years of varied technology industry experience and expertise, NTT said his experience has allows him to play an instrumental role in shaping the company’s technology focus areas.
Prior to joining NTT, Cocks headed up Equant's Field Services Asia team and was the head of regional network planning at American Express.
He has successfully handled several complex, large scale, multi-market transformation projects during his professional career.
Jason Goodall, Global CEO for NTT Ltd said the appointment is reflective of his world-class contribution to the business.
“Our Go-to-Market strategy over the coming months will be a core component of the new NTT as we come together as one company,” said Goodall.
“I know Andy will lead his team to success as we take our unparallel capabilities to market and help clients around the world do great things every day."
On his appointment, Cox added, "I'm extremely proud to lead NTT's Go-to-Market team into this new and exciting era. Together, we've created a company that boasts industry-leading products, solutions, and managed services.
“It's important we take these to market in the right way, partnering with our clients around the world as they make use of our full range of capabilities and help to build the most innovative cities and societies. NTT is going to do great things and I can't wait to get started in the new role."
