Exponential-e named as a supplier on CCS Network Services 2 framework
Exponential-e, the British cloud and network provider, have this week announced that it has been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service's (CCS) Network Services 2 framework, which launched last month. This involvement allows Exponential-e to deliver its cutting-edge technical solutions to government departments and agencies.
CCS supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2018/19, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits worth £945m - supporting world-class public services that offer the best value for taxpayers.
The new framework allows public sector bodies looking to deliver innovative IT projects to connect with specialist technology providers. The company sees its position as a major 'kitemark' of its expanding public sector business, as it demonstrates its unique expertise in delivering cutting-edge technology solutions to government departments.
As a member of this framework, Exponential-e expands its access to key government departments, non-departmental public bodies, NHS trusts, and local authorities. Public sector organisations can use the framework to award contracts for a wide range of telecoms, networking, and unified communications services.
Exponential-e successfully secured places on the following lots:
- Lot 1 - WAN
- Lot 2 - LAN
- Lot 3 - Traditional Telephony
- Lot 5 - IP Telephony
- Lot 8 - Video Conferencing
- Lot 9 - Audio Conferencing
- Lot 10 - Unified Communications
- Lot 13 - Contact Centre
Commenting on this news, Afshin Attari, Director of Public Sector & Unified Platforms at Exponential-e, said:
"We are delighted to contribute to this crucial initiative. Today's announcement cements our ambition to deliver agile and innovative solutions to swathes of government organisations, resulting in better outcomes and changing the way they operate for good. Our position on this framework also illustrates the continued growth and commitment of Exponential-e's public sector technology offering - no doubt our involvement with this framework will accelerate these efforts."
