RingCentral partners with Westcon to deliver new generation of cloud services
Cloud telephony provider RingCentral has teamed up with value-added tech distributor Westcon to deliver a new generation of cloud communications products and services to enterprises across EMEA.
Starting with the UK and Ireland, Westcon will act as a master agent for RingCentral, drawing on its EMEA footprint to extend the provider's reach across multiple markets in the region.
The collaboration forms part of Westcon's refreshed channel model, with RingCentral taking centre stage as the firm's lead partner in the region.
"Demand for enterprise-grade cloud communications solutions grows daily, and we are continually investing in market-leading technologies that help our partners to build out cloud-based aspects of their portfolio," said Rene Klein, SVP of Westcon Europe.
"That is why we've made the strategic decision to make RingCentral our lead partner in our launch of a new master agency model for Europe. We're excited to be pioneering this new approach as a significant addition to our existing channel model."
Westcon said it will use its expertise in unified communications as a service (UCaaS) to enable swift partner onboarding, which will help enable businesses to secure fast ROI on their investment.
RingCentral's single cloud solution platform provides businesses with multimodal communications capabilities, including voice, video, online meetings, team messaging, as well as digital customer engagement. It also delivers integration capabilities with other leading cloud business apps to enable seamless and customisable workflows.
The UCaaS's features and versatility make it "attractive to new resellers across many industries" with a reach that "extends beyond traditional UC players", Westcon said, as the distributor looks to accelerate RingCentral's growth in the UK and Ireland.
"Master agents like Westcon are instrumental in arming their partners with the best solutions on the market so they can help their customers make the best possible choice for their business," said Zane Long, SVP of global channel sales at RingCentral.
"We're thrilled to be their lead partner as we work together to enable their channel community with the leading solution in UCaaS."
