Exponential-e named Zerto’s EMEA Cloud Service Provider of the year
Exponential-e, the British Cloud and Network provider, has been recognised by Zerto, an award-winning provider of enterprise IT resilience cloud solutions - as its EMEA Cloud Service Provider of the year for 2019. The accolade recognises the companies’ six-year partnership, which has enabled them to collectively build and deliver an industry-leading data recovery and business continuity service for around 3,000 customers.
Built on Exponential-e’s industry leading flat Layer 2 VPLS Network, the offering has generated significant revenues for both firms and contributed to gaining market share in an era where the loss of a critical application for even minutes, can be devastating for business. The innovative software ensures that all data held in the Cloud is replicated in near real-time, meaning that any work on critical, virtual applications can be recovered and up and running within minutes in the event of a failure, with next to no data loss.
At the heart of Exponential-e’s recognition as Zerto’s CSP of the year in EMEA was some highly innovative enhancements to this product offering over the last 12 months. These included the development of a hybrid cloud integration offering that allows a self-service management element for customers, a one-to-many backup offering that includes AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure - this enables automated multi-cloud allocation and the ability to extend rollbacks for up to 30 days to restore a point-in-time using continuous data protection.
Commenting on the award, which was presented at Zerto’s Annual Partner & Cloud Provider Round Table in London, Exponential-e Managing Director Mukesh Bavisi said:
“Since working with Zerto we have built a cost-effective business continuity offering that is a credit to the entire team at both Exponential-e and Zerto, we provide a solution that is absolutely critical to the ongoing success of so many of our client’s business operations.
“In this day and age, where so many organisations rely on application-based software to run fundamental programmes, having a robust data recovery solution that can instantly replicate that software in the case of an outage is essential. Working with Zerto has enabled us to develop a solution that is not only highly valued by our clients but also acts as a significant driver of revenue for our business. We are delighted to be honoured in this way and look forward to strengthening this partnership over the coming years.”
“As one of the earliest EMEA members of Zerto’s channel programme, Exponential-e has consistently demonstrated their ability to provide superior technology services that help customers achieve IT resilience,” said Jim Ortbals, VP of worldwide channel and cloud sales, Zerto.
“They’ve substantially grown their business and their Platinum Partner status unlocks additional business-building capabilities to continue that success alongside Zerto. Because of their exemplary contributions helping customers implement cloud strategies using Zerto, we’re proud to recognise Exponential-e with this accolade, which solidifies their position as one of our greatest partners in EMEA.”
