Microsoft and Cisco to headline UC Expo 2019

Representatives from Microsoft and telecommunications equipment provider Cisco will speak at this year’s UC Expo, taking place on 15-16 May in London, England.
Amy Chang, vice president of Collaboration Technology at Cisco, will open the two-day event with an opening keynote on the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning in business communication and collaboration. Lan Ye, general manager of Microsoft Teams, will then continue the conversation on day two, sharing the latest technological advancements in the collaboration industry and how businesses can drive the intelligent future workplace.
“As workforces become increasingly dispersed, the need for communication and collaboration technology has only grown,” said Gordon Sockett, senior content manager for UC Expo. “To help organisations grappling with this, we aim to provide attendees with access to some of the world’s leading experts in unified collaboration and communication.”
Chang and Le will speak alongside a host of other industry experts, including Dave Lewis, advisory chief information security officer at Duo; Rami Houbby, vice president of Cloud at Mitel; and Praful Shah, chief strategy officer at RingCentral.
