BlueJeans Network, Inc. has this week announced that Guillaume “G” Vives has joined the company as its chief product officer. Reporting directly to chief executive officer, Quentin Gallivan, Vives will lead BlueJeans’ effort to shape the next wave of innovation and growth around smart meetings and video collaboration.
“We’re already seeing widespread user demand in the enterprise for cloud-based video conferencing services that can accelerate digital transformation efforts,” said Quentin Gallivan, CEO, BlueJeans. “Guillaume brings with him extensive knowledge of the enterprise software space and deployment requirements, as well as how emerging technology like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning will impact the future of work. With Guillaume at the helm steering product innovation, we will continue to differentiate the BlueJeans’ meeting platform and deliver the industry’s best user experience.”
Vives has more than 25 years of strategic cloud computing and enterprise software experience. Most recently, he was the chief product officer of Boomerang Commerce. Prior to that, he was responsible for all of product management and marketing at Zuora. He’s also held leadership roles at RMS, CloudShare, Oracle and Agile Software. Vives’ deep understanding of the B2B market and large customer needs will help BlueJeans further distinguish its smart collaboration platform to the enterprise user.
"The video conferencing industry is an integral part of a massive innovation cycle impacting the corporate environment,” said Guillaume Vives, CPO, BlueJeans. “BlueJeans already provides users with a high quality experience and best-in-class experience. My goal now is to double down on user experience, from any end-point or location, to reimagine the meeting of tomorrow and leapfrog the competition.”
“At Zuora, I worked closely with some of the world’s largest enterprises,” Vives continued. “I plan to bring this knowledge with me to BlueJeans as I lead product strategy and innovation for our smart meetings platform. Only by creating meetings without boundaries will we be able to deliver optimal insights and customer satisfaction through video communications and collaboration.”
