Tech Data signs Agreement with SoftApp

Tech Data has announced a pan-European agreement with SoftApp Distribution, the provider of unified communications solutions, to make The Voice of O365 available on its cloud platform, StreamOne.
Through this new partnership, resellers will have access to The Voice of O365, a cloud service that offers Office365 Business Premium, E3 and E5 Plan users and their organisations the ability to use Skype for Business Online (formerly Lync 2010/13) as a true private telephone network (PBX), in the cloud.
Nick Stancliffe, Business Development Manager, Modern Workplace Solutions at Tech Data UK, said: “The Voice of O365 enables resellers to offer their Office 365 customers the ability to make and receive phone calls with their existing Skype for Business license (part of Office 365). It effectively turns Microsoft Office 365 into a fully-fledged soft PBX.
Because it works with existing SIP trunks, The Voice of O365 is extremely easy to deploy, and manage and very cost-effective compared to other available options. It’s a great way for Microsoft cloud partners to expand their portfolio, add value to their Microsoft cloud sales and drive additional revenue and profitability for their developing cloud business.”
Tech Data will be making more solutions that are complementary to Office 365 and the rest of the Microsoft cloud solutions portfolio available via its StreamOne platform over the next few months, providing resellers with additional potential to extend and grow their cloud business beyond Microsoft CSP.
