Singtel tops SIAS Investors’ Choice Awards 2018
Singtel won a total of five awards at the SIAS Investors’ Choice Awards 2018 this week. The wins include the Golden Circle Award as the overall winner for Most Transparent Company, two Singapore Corporate Governance Awards for big-cap companies and diversity, the Most Transparent Company Award in the telecommunication services category, and the Shareholder Communication Excellence Award for big-cap companies.
Singtel strives to deliver the highest standards of corporate governance, to ensure transparency and proper disclosure of information to investors and the public. The company has been an early adopter of listing rules and guidelines, and continues to maintain standards consistent with best practices.
Singtel also has a strong commitment to gender diversity of the Board, where a third of its nine-member board are women, and different skills, experiences and backgrounds are recognised and valued.
