​Job Title: Senior Security Engineer

Location: Berkshire

Senior security engineer needed to join an End User to enhance, manage and further develop their technical Cyber Security capability.

A successful individual must be technically hands and have a blend of delivery, operational and design experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance existing security systems, conduct evaluations and address threats.

• Participate in architecture review panels and provide Security design recommendations.

• Assist in incident response and perform post-incident analyses.

• Maintain security documentation and generate performance reports.

• Improve Operational Technology security and safeguard network / assets.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven track record in Cyber Security (engineering, operating systems, databases and cloud services).

• Experience with firewalls, SIEM, antivirus, and vulnerability assessment tools etc.

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal), must be able to effectively engage with stakeholders of all levels both technical and non technical.

• Familiarity with ISO 27001, ITIL and NIST frameworks.

Additional requirements

• Travel to the Berkshire area 2-3 times a week.

• Visa sponsorship not available.
