TeleWare and Siphon Networks Pen New Deal

Posted by Admin | December 14, 2016 | Unified Commuication

Siphon Networks partners with TeleWare in first deal since it was scooped up by Nuvias Group

Siphone Networks today announced a new partnership with TeleWare, it’s first signing since being acquired by Nuvias Group eariler this year.

Teleware develops telephony software for communication solutions such as personal numbering, hot desking and unified messaging. Siphon Networks was established in 2009 and provides a range of cloud telephony services. Pan-EMEA distribution outfit Nuvias Group acquired Siphon Networks in October in order to bolster its unified comms business.

“Working with Siphon provides TeleWare with further sector-spanning capabilities and know-how and allows end users to receive ‘enterprise now’ technology, which is operational immediately, with no interruption of service,” the two companies said in a statement.

Initially, the partnership will focus on enhancements to Microsoft capability, especially Skype for Business.

“Working with TeleWare just makes sense for us. We’re of a very similar mindset in terms of culture and our attitude towards collaboration,” said Steve Harris, managing director of Siphon Networks. “We’ve been discussing the possibility of a partnership since around June this year and it’s good to make it official. The nature of the work we do will mean that we will be able to provide what is essentially an end-to-end service and smooth the way for companies to implement genuine unified communications.”

Steve Haworth, CEO of TeleWare, added, “This keeps the momentum going on our partnership program, which has really taken off in 2016.”
