Joel left school at 16 and joined DCL as a trainee. He immediately showed an aptitude for his work and it wasn’t long before he was working as a recruiter. Now just eight years on, he heads DCL’s Unified Communications practice and has developed an excellent knowledge and reputation within his chosen area.
Joel firmly believes that DCL’s strength lies in the fact that they work hard for their clients, “our clients haven’t got time to sift through CVs, they simply want to meet the right candidates; it’s therefore our job to know who’s got the right skills and who would fit into their organisation.” Joel is also passionate about looking after DCL’s candidates, “we think that it’s in our best interests to ensure that they are well prepared. We’ll help them with their interviews and presentations and where necessary we’ll negotiate on their behalf.” He also feels that one of DCL’s key strengths is that “the DCL team is made up of approachable, dare I say nice people, I think that's one of the reasons why both our clients and candidates like working with us .”
