ERP

The term Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) was coined in the early 1990s to describe how emerging and innovative business software could be developed in order to create a shared database across multiple business units.  The idea was to maximize synchronisation throughout the organisation, thereby improving processes, performance metrics, and ultimately business performance.

ERP systems normally include software for manufacturing, order entry, accounts receivable and payable, general ledger, purchasing, warehousing, transportation and human resources.  ERP modules often interface with an organisation’s own software although the required effort to achieve this depends on the complexity involved.  ERP modules may also be alterable via the vendor’s proprietary tools as well as standard programming languages.

DCL specialises in recruiting both functional and technical personnel with expertise and experience in the key ERP providers such as SAP, Oracle and Microsoft Dynamics for the ‘Big Four’ accountancy practices and the larger system integrators.  We recruit at all levels from support through to senior management in areas such as:

•       Sales

•       Technical/Functional Consultants

•       Integration Specialists

•       Business Analysts

•       Project and Programme Leads.
