Genesys and Ideal Sign Reseller Agreement

Ideal customers can now access Genesys’s customer and employee engagement platform

Genesys and contact management tool vendor Ideal have signed a reseller agreement, allowing Ideal to market and sell Genesys’s PureCloud customer engagement platform in the UK.

The all-in-one customer and staff retention solution is offered on a pay-as-you-go plan, making it an attractive option for businesses wanting to transfer large capex spend to an opex basis, Genesys said, adding that it will enhance the way everyone in a business can collaborate and communicate.

“Partnering with Genesys enables us to both expand and enhance our customer engagement and unified communications portfolio,” Mike Henson, Ideal’s managing director, said.

“Now our clients have access to an easy-to-use, scalable and reliable cloud solution that will help them keep pace with their customers’ rapidly evolving service needs.”

PureCloud was developed to improve the efficiency of managing customer relationships with a single conversation thread comprising key channels and systems to make managing customer and staff engagement much easier via an intuitive interface.

It’s targeted at organisations that lack the resource or IT expertise to concentrate on the customer service experience and can be scaled up or down as needed, ensuring it’s more cost effective than taking on staff to manage customer service technology, and can react to seasonal demand rather than costing businesses regardless of use.
